High-Potency Phenolic Olive Oil
Harvest September 2024

world best high phenolic olive oil
The Story Behind Our 2024 High Potency Phenolic Olive Oil:

The 2024 harvest of our High Potency Phenolic Olive Oil tells a story of resilience and exceptional quality. Cyprus experienced an unusually dry winter, followed by an intense heatwave starting in April, with temperatures soaring to 40°C as early as mid-April. While these conditions posed significant challenges for olive cultivation, our trees demonstrated remarkable resilience. Fortunately, the heat struck after the crucial flowering period, when our olives had already begun to form, preserving our expected yield. This resilience is a testament to our regenerative agricultural methods, which have proven their worth in creating drought-resistant ecosystems. Despite the hardships, nature has rewarded our sustainable practices with an olive oil of extraordinary quality. The result is a High Potency Phenolic Olive Oil boasting unparalleled levels of polyphenols, encapsulating the strength and adaptability of our groves in every drop. This year's oil isn't just a product; it's a liquid embodiment of nature's tenacity and the effectiveness of our commitment to regenerative agriculture.

Why We Use LC-MS/MS Analysis

In an industry where many brands rely on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) testing—a method known to significantly overestimate polyphenol content—we take a different approach. Our commitment to transparency and accuracy leads us to exclusively use Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) for all our polyphenol analysis.

Why does this matter to you? Recent scientific studies have shown that NMR testing can inflate polyphenol readings by up to 2-3 times their actual values, potentially misleading consumers about the true content of their olive oil. While many brands choose NMR testing because it provides more marketable numbers, we believe in providing you with precise, scientifically accurate measurements.

Our LC-MS/MS analysis offers:
- Exact molecular identification of individual polyphenol compounds
- Detection limits as low as parts per billion
- Precision that prevents the overestimation common with NMR
- Ability to distinguish between similar molecular structures
- Comprehensive profiling of actual, not inflated, polyphenol composition

When you see our polyphenol content numbers, you can trust they represent the true, scientifically verified amounts in your olive oil. We may report lower numbers than brands using NMR testing, but these numbers reflect genuine polyphenol content—not inflated values. This commitment to accuracy ensures that when you choose our olive oil for its health benefits, you're making a decision based on real science, not marketing hype.

Choose truth in testing. Choose LC-MS/MS verified olive oil.
